Amazing GCSE Results at Brynhyfryd

Forget the u-turn, these results are amazing and our best ever!

Last November our Year 11 students sat their GCSE Maths and 40% of the year group achieved A*- A Grades a little over half way through their 2 year course. We therefore knew they were an

exceptional year group and their final results this summer have simply built upon this outstanding success.

Congratulations to you all, your success is well deserved and special thanks must go to our wonderful staff and your families for their tremendous support throughout.

Notable successes include:

A Level Results – Truly Aspirational

Ysgol Brynhyfryd Sixth Form students are celebrating outstanding A Level success once again, with the majority achieving the highest grades and so many progressing to the most prestigious universities and degree courses in the UK.

Head Teacher Geraint Parry said, “The achievements of our students this year are fabulous and I pay tribute to them for working so hard throughout their school life. Successes like these are hard won and it is thanks to their endeavour and the support of their teachers and their families that we see them succeed at the very highest level”.

“They take with them the very best wishes of everyone here at Brynhyfryd and we look forward to watching them flourish as they embark on the next chapter of their life”.

Well done to you all and best of luck.
