We are very excited here at Ysgol Brynhyfryd, Christmas has arrived – thanks to Tesco Ruthin.
Pupils and staff were welcomed to Brynhyfryd by the sight of the amazing 10ft tree, kindly gifted
to us by our local Tesco store at Ruthin.

Congratulations to Neisha Roberts as she is the North East Wales Champion in the 1500m and High Jump. She will represent the North East Wales and Ysgol Brynhyfryd in the Welsh Schools Athletics Championships in Cardiff in July. Good luck Neisha.
The Phoenix Project is a Fire and Rescue initiative aimed at young people aged 13 – 17. The project runs five day courses across North Wales designed to assist in redirecting the energy of youngsters towards productive and worthwhile activities that will assist in the integration of the individuals with their peers and their communities….
We are so very proud to announce that our year 11 students here at Ysgol Brynhyfryd have received amazing ‘record breaking’ results in the Mathematics GCSE which they sat in November 2019. 40.6% achieved A – A* grades and 73.5% achieved A* – C grades Fantastic results, all that hard work has certainly paid off!…

Truly scrumptious cakes and homebaked treats were on offer for the Macmillan Coffee Morning held at Ysgol Brynhyfryd on Friday September 28th. Our 6th from students arranged, sold tickets, baked and presented staff and pupils with refreshments and succeeded in raising £400 for this worthy cause! Thoroughly enjoyed by all!
