Truly scrumptious cakes and homebaked treats were on offer for the Macmillan Coffee Morning
held at Ysgol Brynhyfryd on Friday September 28th.
Our 6th from students arranged, sold tickets, baked and presented staff and pupils with refreshments
and succeeded in raising £400 for this worthy cause! Thoroughly enjoyed by all! Well done and let’s
do it all again soon!
Massive congratulations to the school girls U14 hockey squad who are now North Wales champions. They won the tournament in Wrexham yesterday showing an amazing attitude and team spirit in the rain and snow!!

Congratulations to Huw Jones Yr 10 he is the North East Wales Athletics Champion in the 3000m. He also finished second in the 1500m. He will now represent North East Wales and Ysgol Brynhyfryd in the Welsh Athletics Championships in Cardiff in July. Good luck Huw.

Ifan Beech and Joe Hinchcliffe Year 12 have been offered a placement at Harvard University, USA through the Seren Network. Only 5 are selected every year throughout Wales, and we have two students from Brynhyfryd who have been offered a place!
