Welcome to Year 9

My name is Alys Gwyndaf and I have the privilege of being the Head of Year 9 here in Ysgol Brynhyfryd.

Year 9 is an important year where our students have the opportunity to make important choices about
the courses they will follow during years 10 and 11. Students are able to select GCSE studies or
have the option to embark on vocational courses. Our PSE sessions aim to develop ideas to help our students in their decision making.

Our students have many challenges ahead and we work closely to help them conquer these challenges and choose the correct path for themselves.
